Middle school librarian and fledgling blogger, Gillian O'Hare, travels to Ireland to find her birth father and write an article for Traverse Magazine. Pete, her step-brother, has been commissioned by his billionaire father to bring her home. But as far as Gillian is concerned, her stepfather and his son gave up their right to sway her decisions ten years ago when they abandoned her after her mother's death.
